August 14 (LTIT) –China on Wednesday August 14 issued a fresh batch of import quotas of 11,290 mt for newly restricted high-grade aluminium scrap. According to the list released by the Solid Waste and Chemical Management Centre under the Ministry of Environmental Protection on August 14, most of the latest batch of quotas were allocated to importers from the key metal-recycling province of Guangdong. So far, 372,476 mt of import quotas have been granted for high-grade aluminium scrap that is restricted from entering China from July 1. |
