Daily Crude Steel Output of key Steel Mills in Mid-May Fell 0.27% MoM

In mid-May, key steel mills surveyed by China Iron and Steel Association produced a total of 22.99 million mt of crude steel, 20.31 million mt of pig iron and 22.19 million mt of steel. The daily production of crude steel was 2,229,100 mt, down 0.27% MoM; the daily production of pig iron was 2,030,800 mt, down 0.04% MoM; the daily production of steel was 2,129,400 mt, up 2.66% MoM. Steel inventory reached 19.98 million mt, an increase of 1.23 million mt or 6.55% over the previous month.
