Oct 12 (LTIT) –According to the latest data from the US Geological Survey, in July, the United States exported 21,700 tons of scrap aluminum to India, slightly higher than the 21,400 tons in the same period last year; in June, its export volume was 12,800 tons, an increase of 69.53% from the previous month.
Since May, the output of U.S. aluminum scrap exported to India has been increasing month by month, and the import volume in May was 4,190 tons.
In the first seven months, the United States exported 145,000 tons of aluminum scrap to India, compared with 150,000 tons in the same period last year, down 3.33% year-on-year.
In July, the United States exported a total of 158,000 tons of scrap aluminum, up from 150,000 tons in June, an increase of 5.33% month-on-month; also higher than the 152,000 tons in the same period last year, an increase of 4% year-on-year. In the first seven months, the United States exported 1.01 million tons of aluminum scrap, compared with 1.1 million tons in the same period last year, down 8.18% year-on-year. |
