According to market research, copper scraps prices hover at yesterday’s level in Tianjin market on Thursday (August 16).

With sluggish demand for copper materials, most of market participants prefer to keep in a wait-and-see attitude. Even though several buyers, who need some scraps, are seen make a purchase based on their demand, they provide an offer at a lower point. For holders, they get reluctance to sell now, so the trading is stalemated today.
