According to market research, copper scrap materials prices in Tianjin market edge higher on Tuesday (October 16).

Thanks to Shanghai copper futures’ bounce back, the buyers are scrambling to chase the price high in order to replenish some. Nevertheless, the suppliers are not in a rush to sell at current levels. Thus, the market trades are limited.

At the moment of this writing, #1 Bare Bright in Tianjin market deals around 53,100-53,300 yuan/ton today. And #1 Copper around 52,400-52,600 yuan/ton. (Source: Lingtong Metal Information)
